What we collect
Through this website we collect the following.
When you use the Book a Demo form:
your name, work email address, company, job title, company size, phone number (if you provide it), anything you write in the enquiry field, and how you heard about us.
When you use the Contact Us form:
your name, email address, company (if you provide it), the reason for contact, and your message.
Technical information:
our hosting provider may process limited technical data such as your IP address and browser type as part of delivering and securing the website. We do not use analytics or tracking cookies and we do not build profiles of your browsing. See the Cookies section below.
We do not knowingly collect special category data through this website. Please do not include special category data, or personal data about other people, in a form message.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered that our interest in operating and responding to enquiries about a business-to-business service does not override your rights and freedoms. You can object to this at any time.
We only send marketing where you have specifically opted in. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message or by emailing us.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of third-party providers who process personal data on our behalf under written data processing agreements. These include:
Google Workspace (our inboxes receive and store your form submission)

These providers have their own privacy policies, which we recommend you review. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose it where we are required to by law, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.
International transfers
Our production infrastructure is hosted in the United Kingdom. Where any provider processes personal data outside the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on an appropriate safeguard, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, UK adequacy regulations, or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Demo and contact enquiries that do not lead to an ongoing relationship: 24 months from our last contact with you.
Enquiries that become a customer relationship: for the duration of that relationship and then 6 years, to meet our contractual and tax record-keeping obligations.
Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a minimal suppression record so we do not contact you again.
Cookie consent records: 12 months.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
ask us to delete your data
ask us to restrict or object to how we use it
ask us to transfer your data to another provider
withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS), access controls and authentication, and storage with reputable providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and to keep those measures under review.
Children's privacy
This website and our services are aimed at businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at privacy@obquan.com and we will delete it.
